Skip-A-Payment

It's like a holiday for your wallet!

What is the Skip-A-Pay Program?

Everyone deserves a break once in a while. OnPath Federal Credit Union’s Skip-A-Pay Promo allows you to skip up to two (2) monthly payments in a 12-month period on certain loans. Those payments are then added to the end of your loan term. Wanna know the best part? Our Skip-A-Payment promo does not impact your credit rating.

Now that's banking with direction!

Here's how it works:

  • Qualify: Check if your loan is eligible for Skip-a-Pay by logging into the OnPath FCU Mobile App and pressing MORE. There you will see the Skip A Pay button. If you see a widget, congratulations you are eligible to skip a payment for the loans in the dropdown menu.
  • Choose: Select the next month to skip your payment and the OnPath FCU account you would like to withdraw the $35 fee from.
  • Remember: If you have set a recurring or Auto payment to withdraw from another account you will need to pause it for the month you are skipping.

In order to qualify, the loan must have been paid on time for the last six (6) months prior to this request. Members are limited to two (2) Skip-A-Payment requests per calendar year (twelve (12) months) with a minimum of six (6) months between each request and/or loan modification. Requesting to defer a payment may affect any future GAP insurance payouts. Other conditions may apply. Visit BeOnPath.org, or call 504.733.7274 for details. Federally insured by the NCUA.
