Important alert on Phone Scams!
There has been a rise in phone scams involving callers pretending to be OnPath FCU Team Members.
We have been made aware of a recent phone scam involving callers pretending to be OnPath FCU team members. Callers are inquiring about purchases you’ve made or intend to make using your OnPath FCU debit or credit card.
If you've been contacted by someone with a matching phone number, claiming to be an OnPath FCU employee and requesting purchases or personal/account details, disconnect the call immediately and DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION.
- OnPath representatives will not contact you to inquire about whether you will be using your card now or inquire about any future purchases.
- We will also never call you to ask for information such as your addresses, social security numbers, dates of birth, or passwords.
- We will never call to try and convince you to stop transactions by transferring money from us to another bank or using any such fraudulent tactics that fraudsters attempt to employ.
PLEASE REMEMBER, that while fraudsters may attempt to manipulate caller identification, they do not have the capability to take over our phone lines and pose as representatives when YOU call US. Contacting OnPath at 504-733-7274 OR 800-749-6193, will ensure that you are communicating with our legitimate team.
If you feel that you may have been targeted by a scammer or notice any suspicious activity on your account, please contact us immediately at 504-733-7274, option 6 or 800-749-6193
